Mark Feuerer, President
Mark is a Wisconsin native, has lived in the Phoenix area for 10 years, and has spent 19+ years in the sales & management professions at various construction equipment suppliers, most recently as the VP of Global Sales & Marketing for a heavy equipment manufacturer. Mark has also headed up Corporate Planning and was interim President for a Mitsui-owned heavy construction equipment distributor in Phoenix, Arizona where his main responsibility was to oversee budgeting, inventory, and strategic growth. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, he went to Australia for a brief stint as a pitcher in their professional baseball league before moving back to the states to begin his career. He holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Kelly.
Nick Carr, Director of Operations
Nick is a 25 year resident of Arizona and a proud alumnus of ASU. Nick has over 2 decades worth of sales & managerial experience in both the insurance and auction industries, most recently as General Manager for a national auction company which specialized in the supermarket and restaurant industries. He has been very involved in his community serving on several boards, committees and charity organizations. Nick lives in Gilbert with his wife Claudine and their 2 daughters. Nick has been married for 23 years.
Anthony Buckel, Marketing Manager
Anthony manages all Print, Direct Mail and Online Marketing/Advertising for Sierra, including Web Design, Graphic Design, Social Media, Video Production, and Multimedia. As an alumnus of both The Art Institutes of Pittsburgh and Ft. Lauderdale as well as a 5+ year Drafting & Design Committee Member at ITT Tech, Anthony has a highly skilled background in Marketing and Design, and is adept at identifying buyer trends and adopting effective advertising methods.
Matt Messner, Auction Coordinator
Matt is a seasoned auction professional, having been in the auction business since 2009 he has worked various positions from Inventory Manager, Warehouse Manager, Auctioneer, and many more. Matt offers consignors and buyers alike the best possible service to ensure great customer satisfaction and retained business. As Auction Coordinator, he is always on his toes and handles most aspects of allocating a sale from beginning to completion.
Kim Henning, Senior Customer Relations Manager - Phoenix
Kim’s majority duties and responsibilities are customer relations with our consignors as well as a responsibility of organically growing our business through existing and new vertical markets.
Tony Trehern, Vehicle & Equipment Manager – Phoenix
Tony oversees the check-in/receipt and evaluation of all vehicle and equipment assets. Tony also manages the vehicle and equipment team in the detailing of vehicles and equipment, decal removal, police & emergency vehicle equipment removal, and vehicle inspections. Tony is expert at evaluating equipment features and options, and therefore plays an important role in the company’s marketing of vehicles and equipment accurately and successfully. Of equal importance, Tony leads internal vehicle safety meetings, to ensure that staff, customers, and vehicles are safe and secure.
Mauricio Diaz, Inventory Tracking Specialist (non-vehicle) – Phoenix
Mauricio carefully catalogs, categorizes and tracks each non-vehicle asset pre and post sale. Mauricio also applies asset and/or case numbers to each item that requires a specific designation. Additionally, Mauricio shoulders the responsibility of ensuring that Sierra abides by all legal, regulatory and safety requirements as dictated by the State and/or other legal entities. Mauricio speaks fluent English and Spanish which allows for successful communication with all of Sierra’s clients.
Matt Rowan, Firearms Manager – Phoenix
Matt joined Sierra Auction as our firearms expert and manager of this vertical market. In his position Matt will help Sierra Auction market our customers’ unique consignments to targeted markets.
Crystal Chapa, Cash Room Manager – Phoenix
She has been with us for several years as a cashier, head cashier, and administrative assistant and now as Assistant Cash Room Manager. Crystal is fluent in English and Spanish.
Lore Parker, HR and Accounting
Lore Parker is the Accounting and Human Resource Manager of Sierra Auction Management Inc. She moved to Arizona from Connecticut in 1992 and currently resides in Phoenix with her husband, Dean. Joining the company in 2013, Mrs. Parker brought with her over 30 years of accounting, administrative, and supervisory skills. Having previously started two small companies and running a third, she was able to aide Sierra Auction in integrating efficient accounting procedures with the existing system and creating human resource files in accordance with state and federal requirements. Graduating from Glendale Community College in 1999, Mrs. Parker holds an AAS in Accounting and has successfully completed numerous business management and supervisor courses. She also currently holds a notary commission.
Ada Amador, Receptionist, Title Processing Clerk – Phoenix
Ada handles the majority of incoming calls in our Phoenix offices. In addition, Ada assists in overseeing daily office operations and in ensuring that vehicles are properly titled prior to each sale, all MVD records are up to date, and that title transfers have been properly conveyed. Ada also supervises invoice processing, data entry, filing, record storage, bilingual telephone communications, agency case number tracking, and numerous other duties. Ada is fluent in English and Spanish.
Chelsea Hoskyns, Bankruptcy Specialist – Phoenix
Chelsea serves as an administrative assistant for both the Bankruptcy and Marketing departments of Sierra’s operations. Chelsea works with the Bankruptcy Specialist in updating court and trustee required documents and managing files. Additionally, Chelsea assists the Marketing Department in list development and other marketing functions.
