2025 LATE/STORAGE FEES

  • Vehicles & Equipment:

  • $40 per vehicle for storage fees, increasing by $20 each day (Examples: Monday - $40, Tuesday - $60, Wednesday - $80, etc...).
  • Surplus:

  • $20 per lot for storage, increasing by $10 each day (Examples: Monday - $20, Tuesday - $30, Wednesday - $40 etc...). Any surplus lots not picked up by the following Wednesday will be considered abandoned and resold, with no refund provided.

If there are extenuating circumstances, please have the customer speak with the appropriate manager.


PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT ANY SIERRA AUCTION LOCATION.

SIERRA AUCTION DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE CREDIT CARDS ON FILE.

Payments made using a Debit Card (with or without pin) or a Credit Card incur an additional 3% surcharge.

3.) PayPal We are now accepting PayPal as a method of payment. To make a PayPal payment, log in to your bidder account and “view” the invoice you wish to pay, then click “pay invoice” and and choose "PayPal". It will automatically set the dollar amount. This payment method will charge a 2% surcharge that will automatically be added to the invoice amount due.

Surplus Note: If your invoice is paid-in-full on the Monday following a Sunday surplus auction close there will be no credit card convenience fees charged if paid-in-full by end of business on Monday using the link provided in your invoice. After Monday, the Buyers Premium will remain at 17% plus we will collect a 3% convenience fee for any credit card payments hereafter.

Renege Fees:

PLEASE NOTE: A 3% credit card convenience fee is assessed when collecting the renege fee using a credit card.

  • Vehicles & Commercial Heavy Equipment Renege Fee:
    Minimum $250 or 14% of the total bid price, whichever is greater.
  • Surplus Renege Fee:
    Minimum $200 or 17% of the total bid price, whichever is greater.
  • Onsite Auctions Renege Fee:
    Minimum $200 or 18% of the total bid price, whichever is greater.

Registration Deposits

* If you register to bid in ANY of our auctions, a deposit for each auction is REQUIRED and WILL BE proactively charged to your credit card at the time of registration. By registering for our auctions, you are providing authorization for Sierra to complete this deposit transaction. If the card is declined, your bidding account will be placed on temporary hold and you will be contacted to arrange payment of this deposit. To ensure a seamless bidding experience, please be sure to have a credit card on file with Sierra Auction that has enough funds available to cover the anticipated deposit(s) for your bids.

We may require a $50-$500+ deposit hold in order to participate in our auctions. This registration deposit hold is part of the purchase and will be applied toward the invoice total. If you do not win any lots, the hold will be released. This can take up to 30 days depending on YOUR bank to release.

Winning Bidder Invoices

1.) If you are the winning bidder of an item in a Vehicle, Stationary/Nonrunning, Rvs, Motorcycles, Boats, Carts (Toys) or Heavy Commercial Equipment auction, a $250 non-refundable deposit for each invoice is REQUIRED and WILL BE proactively charged to your credit card on file as well as applied to your invoice.

2.) If you are the winning bidder of an item in a Public Surplus & Store Returns or Onsite auction, a $50 non-refundable deposit for each invoice is REQUIRED and WILL BE proactively charged to your credit card on file as well as applied to your invoice. By registering for our auction, you are providing authorization for Sierra to complete this deposit transaction. If the card is declined, your bidding account will be placed on temporary hold and you will be contacted to arrange payment of this deposit. ATTENTION: Per city code, if you are a City of Phoenix or a City of Tempe employee, you are not permitted to bid on any City of Phoenix or City of Tempe assets respectively, either knowingly or unknowingly. By participating in our auction, you agree to this restriction & will abide by it.

STARTING JANUARY 1, 2016, SIERRA WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING PAYMENTS BY PHONE. IF PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED BY DUE DATE, SIERRA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHARGE THE BUYER THE FULL AMOUNT DUE AND/OR A PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT AND THE BUYER AGREES TO ALLOW SIERRA TO CHARGE THIS AMOUNT. BUYER ALSO AGREES TO WAIVE ANY RIGHTS FOR CHARGEBACKS RELATED TO THE PURCHASE.
